This workshop is designed for people who work with the elderly and are interested in implementing fall detection and prevention technologies in their practice.
Approach
This course is available online or in person and can be taken individually or with a group.
It is based on the concept of learning by doing and includes many hands-on, project-based tasks.
Each student is assigned a mentor or educator to work with as they apply their learning to individual projects or case studies.
In-class learning is supplemented with self-assessments on the Pingoo micro-learning app to ensure proper review and retention of course content.
